About Casino Examiners

Casino Examiners is an independent Canadian review desk. We examine online casinos that accept players from Canada and publish what we find: licence and ownership, deposit and withdrawal methods, bonus terms as written in the operator's own rules, and the software behind the games.

What we are

We are a small editorial team covering the Canadian market. We are not an operator, we do not run games, and we never hold player money. If you have a dispute with a casino, it has to be resolved with the operator and, where the site is registered in Ontario, with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

How we are paid

Some links on this site are commercial. When a reader opens an account through them, we may receive a commission from the operator. That payment does not buy a place in our lists and does not change what we write: the ranking is built from the examination criteria below, and an operator that fails them is either marked down or left out entirely.

What we publish and what we do not

  • We publish bonus figures only when we can read them in the operator's terms. Where a number cannot be confirmed, the brand is left without one rather than given an invented figure.
  • We do not publish player testimonials, staff photographs or media badges we have not earned.
  • Ontario-registered sites are shown without bonus figures on this site's Ontario pages, because AGCO advertising standards prohibit publishing inducements to players in that province.

Who is behind Casino Examiners

The site is published by Bastionfield Media Ventures Limited, a company registered at Montarik House, 3 Bedlam Court, Gibraltar GX11 1AA. The publisher runs no casino of its own and holds no gaming licence; its revenue comes from the referral agreements described in the affiliate disclosure.
